Cinnamon in Historical Medical Texts

A preliminary proof-of-concept of large corpus analysis of Historical Medical Recipes. This maps the presence  肉桂 (Cinnamomum verum) across two different corpora to show instances where symptoms and disease terms are correlated, and provides a rough categorisation. Drug term ontology is robust, disease terms and categorisations require work. Further development can include full-text passage retrieval for confirmation and more nuanced research.
